About Tioman Island
Tioman is really a Tropical Paradise in the South China Sea. A tear-shape island located about 80 Km off the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, promises as one of the region's most enchanting holiday spots. Scenic and tranquil, Tioman Island has miles and miles of unspoiled white sandy beaches, swaying palm trees, charming villages and friendly people. The water is so crystal and full with spectacular marine life and colorful coral. If you were to look towards the inland, you would be able to see the majestic profile of twin peaks of Gunung Nenek Semukut which become a prominent landmark to this island.

There are a lot of exciting things. You has lush jungles covering from its central mountain creep down to the white-coral, sandy beaches. Nearby, the Mukut Waterfall cascades down a granite peak. Lovers will be spoiled for choice in selecting a beach for themselves. For quiet strolls, there are trails leading from Tekek, the main settlement, northward to Salang and southward to Genting. For a romantic evening, enjoy a seafood dinner at one of the sea-front restaurants beneath casuarinas in the villages. A five-star hotel in Tekek allows couples to indulge in the pleasures of life.

By Land and Sea
Except for the monsoon season, a fast ferry runs from Singapore to Tekek in Tioman Island. Scheduled ferry starts in March – Nov.
The ferry departs from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, near Changi International airport,
Depart from Singapore 0830hrs
Arrives Tioman 12.30-13.00.
The return ferry to Singapore leaves Berjaya at 14.30 and arrives in Singapore around 18.30 - 19.00
