Bukit Tinggi Pahang

Berjaya Hill, formerly known as Bukit Tinggi Resort, in the state of Pahang, is an easy 40 minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur. Despite the change of the name, many people still prefer to use the original name. At 1,000 meters above sea-level, it promises a comfortable cool weather.

It is an ideal location for s short weekend stay. The weather will refresh you from the heavy weeks of work. The facilities are designed for family outings, with many different concepts and theme.

1. The French Theme - The Colmar Tropicale is a French-themed resort that replicate a village the Colmar in French. If walk into the complex, the shops and its frontage are designed to imitate that of French with sidewalk cafe, hotel and even a french castle. You can stay in the hotel there. In my last trip we did not stay at the hotel, but we booked the apartment with 3 rooms. If you have a large entourage, it is better to be in the apartment, it is cheaper and more private.

2. Next to it you can visit the Japanese garden and they even have a typical japanese house with the occupants.. Of course they are local people, but dressed in kimono compete with white stockings and slippers. It is probably too expensive to bring the Japanese. There is suppose to be the Japanese bath, but it was closed when we went.

3. For the children, we had the pony ride, it was really the shortest ride that we had, going around in circle. Then there is the rabbits park with many rabbits. Children love that as they stroke the rabbits and run after them.

4. Getting there.
There is no public transport to Bukit Tinggi. You can you by tour, or taxi. beckons you with enchanting grace and hospitality
