Heritage Memorial

The previous official resident of Pahang State Secretary was converted to Heritage Memorial. The wooden building built in 1920s are now opened to public. It is 2 storey house, built from quality timber and safe from the termites problems, situated on Bius Hill and was restored in 2007.

Heritage Memorial Building in Kuala Lipis was the the birth place of the present Prime Minister of Malaysia Tun Abdul Razak..(picture from the Star).

It is display artifacts from the family of Tun Razak

the second prime minister of Malaysia. Some of the items will bring back the childhood memory of Najib. Looking at the items, remind us on the simplicity of the people in the past. Probably they were too busy on building the nation and the general population. It will be interesting to compare it the present leaders now.

The heritage memorial is also displaying historical items from Kuala Lipis, including the Sultan's official accessories, awards and traditional outfits. The artifacts from the gold mines of the region are also displayed.
