Driving Through Tropical Jungle

Pahang considers itself lucky. It is not heavily developed like the other  states in th west coast of peninsular Malaysia and as such, most of its land are still covered by dense jungle. This make is a natural destination for people who would like to enjoy the eco-tourism.

One of the new spot to discover the natural beauty is in what used to be an unchartered jungle between Kuala Lipis and Cameron Highland. The road is scheduled to be opened soon, It will be a nice 100 km drive from Kuala Lipis to ringlet in cameron highland.

On the way you may stop at the small streams and enjoy the clear pristine water. The forest in fact does a few eco- function. It becomes a natural filter to filter the dirty water and produce a clean water flowing into the stream. It also act as a natural reservoir to slow down the flow and release the water slowly. As the rains falls, the soil and he humus will hold the water and prevent the whole volume from flowing into the river.
