When we mention strawberry, our mind will automatically think of Cameroon Highland. That is the only place that grew strawberry commercially in tropical Malaysia.
However this is no longer true, I come across this site. The berry are being grown in Genting now.
Genting had been the gambling resort of Pahang. It is one of the main contributor towards Pahang state's revenue. To attract the family tourists, Genting had developed the theme park and the cable car that carry the passengers on top of green tropical jungle.
Now a new attraction is coming up, in form of the strawberry attraction of Genting.
About Genting
Genting is the nearest resort to Kuala Lumpur. It is only about 30 minutes drive. Situated on top of the mountain, the weather is cool throughout the year, making is a natural choice of weekend holiday for the city folks to relief the tension of hard works.
Transport
Genting is accessible by road, unless you like to rent a helicopter. There are ample public transport and tour buses. You can also take a taxi.
