The traditional pahang attractions are:
1. The highlands resorts such as Genting, Bukit Tinggi and Frazer Hill. With the opening of the resort in Sentosa in Singapore, the number of visitors to Genting is expected to dwindle.
2. The islands and beautiful beaches in East Coast and the Tioman Island.
3. The eco-tourist spots at the Taman Negara and Kuala Gandah Elephants Sanctuary.
The following are some of the events held to welcome more singapore visitors to Pahang:
a. Tioman eco- challenges
It is an adventure race in the jungle trails of Pulau Tioman. Participants have to traverse through virgin jungle, ravine and climb rocks to reach their destination. The trails distants are about 30 km (men) and 25km(women).

b. Billfish international challenges
Every year billfish such as martin and sailfish migrate and pass through the coast near Rompin. The event is held annually in August and is attracting about 150 participants, both local as well as international.
c. Monsoon wind surfing and surf-board
Pahang Tourism normally hold an annual promotional event in Singapore to showcase the tourist attractions of Pahang.
