There is never a shortage of great diving spot in Malaysia and Tioman is the best. Take for example the diving in Renggis Reef, you can find the best hard corals site around. The amount of reef life you can witness and take memorable pictures is just staggering.
However one of the issues is overcrowding. It is just too many people around, but not as bas as other spots, thanks to the bigger size of the Tioman Island. The free port status is another issues which depending on which side of the fence you are standing, you may like it. There is opportunity for duty free shopping, take it back home.
You can access the island by Berjaya Air daily flight both from Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
